Rodney Carrington schedules shows through December

Rodney Carrington has announced additional tour dates throughout December 2010, including some rescheduled dates from previously canceled shows in April.

After releasing two albums in 2009 (El Nino Loco and Make It Christmas), Carrington has stayed busy touring in 2010. After spending several months on the road earlier this year, he canceled a series of shows in April for “personal reasons,” but picked right up again in May.

Rodney Carrington tickets are available from the present all the way through a special two-night event on Dec. 26-27 in Shawnee, Okla. Along the way, Carrington also has stops in Miami, Okla. on Sept. 11 (for two shows); Oct. 7 in Omaha (originally scheduled for 4/10); and shows at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas from Dec. 3-12.

In updates announced via Rodney Carrington’s official website, he has rescheduled a handful of tour dates due to personal reasons. There has been no information released elaborating on further details.

The dates affected are as follows:

April 8, 2010: Chattanooga, TN rescheduled for September 9, 2010
April 9, 2010: Cape Girardeau, MO rescheduled for October 23, 2010
April 10, 2010: Omaha, NE rescheduled for October 7, 2010
April 19, 2010: North Bay, Ontario, Canada rescheduled for September 24, 2010
April 20, 2010: London, Ontario, Canada rescheduled for September 23, 2010
April 22, 2010: Belleville, Ontario, Canada rescheduled for September 25, 2010
April 24, 2010: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada rescheduled for September 26, 2010

Rodney Carrington embarks on 2010 tour

Stand-up comedian and comic musician Rodney Carrington hits the road for his 44-city tour in 2010! The tour runs from the end of January to May. He’ll also be making two appearances each month in July, August and September.

Of course he’ll be making stops all over the U.S., but there are several stops scheduled for Canada as well.

2009 was a successful year for Carrington. He released his sixth Capitol album, “El Nino Loco,” as well as his first Christmas album, “Make It Christmas.”
